Christmas Eve continued...

More pictures! I don't know why my words are all jumbled up in the previous post, but it is really going to drive me crazy. I have no idea how to fix it. Oh well!!

look like snowflakes.

Hope Santa's hungry!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we always give Natalie Christmas
jammies and go to a nearby neighborhood to look at
Christmas lights. We didn't let the rain stop us. Natalie
wrote her letter to Santa to leave with the reindeer food
and Santa's goodies. Then she opened her jammies and
helped Chase open his. Then we loaded up the car and
headed out. The neighborhood we go to really goes all out.
There are a lot of Victorian style homes and the decorations
are so pretty. This year they lined the streets in the entire
neighborhood with luminaries! We thought we would get
a Starbucks to take along, but they were closed. We were
really bummed but enjoyed the lights anyway. Then we had
to hurry home, check the Norad Santa Tracker, and get to bed
because Santa was on his way!!!!

Greer Christmas Parade

Getting ready to go to the Christmas Parade

Natalie's little head behind the tall green thing.

Natalie is the little person between
the van and the tall green thing. (if
you double click on the picture it makes
it bigger) Her dance teachers mother
said that she was very impresssed
by Natalie's waving skills. :-)

Makayla is so excited to see Natalie
and Santa. This was her first parade.

Next year should be fun because
Chase will actually know what's going
on.

Natalie just wanted to pose for the camera.

and again...

and again....this time with Aunt Ashley & Chase.
Also, Chase's two month stats are in...13 1/2 lbs., 24 1/2 inches long (95th percentile) & 93rd percentile for his big ol head!!

bubble gum medicine!

I remember being excited to take bubble gum medicine when I was little!! I loved it. Chase on the other hand, does not! He has his first ear infection and viral infection. Poor little thing. So Brandon and I tried to give him the medicine and he did nothing but spit it out & then he threw it up all over Brandon. I'm going to try the pinching the cheeks & blowing in the face trick today.

Titus 2:3-5

Thanks to Aunt Ashley, Natalie has discovered
her love for Prada!

Mommy #2

Chase's favorite spot after his morning bottle.
He will sit there for an hour and look out the
window.

Women-Love your husband and children, be self-controlled and pure, be busy at home, be kind, and be subject to your husband, so that no one will malign the word of God.

I never imagined that I could love anything more than caring for my family! But isn't that what God intended. I am so blessed!

Fall

The weather has been so nice for the past week or so & Natalie and I have been taking Chase for walks after school. Natalie gathered some pretty leaves to decorate the kitchen table. I kind of had a flash back to my little 4 year old Natalie, when we just enjoyed the simple things.
Chase had a check up on the 4th. He now weighs 11 lbs. 7 oz. and is 23 inches long. He is in the 85th percentile for height and weight and the 93rd for head circumference!!! For the past 3 nights or so he's been sleeping for 5 hours before waking to eat. Yay!

Halloween

After trick or treating, it took 45 minutes to
wash the spray out of Natalie's hair and clean
the tub.

Started to rain

We had a fun time trick or treating in Papa's neighborhood on Halloween. For the past 8 years we have always gone to Papa's on Halloween. Papa makes hotdogs & all of our friends and family come over to eat and trick or treat together. Lots of the houses in the neighborhood are decorated and the streets are packed with families. You can't drive through the streets while the kids are out because there are so many! It's so much fun! Even the rain didn't stop them.
